I love the way some recipients post... like they are doing the donors a favor or something. Who would want to donate to someone who posts something so demanding?? I mean, would you talk to someone like that in person if you are asking for them to help you out??

It's not clear which messages you're referring to, but since this whole
thing is fairly new to most people, there do seem to be misunderstandings
about how it works. In particular, some recipients seem to think
they're doing the donors a favor, whereas donors almost always think
they're doing the recipients a favor. Some of the problem might just
be that communicating over the Internet is impersonal, but please
everyone, try to treat fellow group members with respect.
