We have a Brewery Bar Mystery shop. There is a 2-day "Location" rotation, so if you put a date and the system tells you that you are too close to another shopper please try another date. If it still doesn't work, please let me know.

Minimum Order Requirements:
At the bar: 2 alcoholic beverages (1 must be a beer).
At the table: 1 appetizer, 2 different entrees and 1 dessert or coffee
**Name of bartender or server is REQUIRED! Descriptions will not be accepted. You can find the name of your server or bartender on the receipt.
General Shop Tips:
•Read these instructions fully.
•An itemized receipt is preferred, but a credit card only receipt is acceptable.
•Contact the CSM (contact details at the end of these instructions) with any problems, questions or concerns.
•Do not take a shop, if your unsure you can go. This creates scheduling problems and then other shoppers who wanted to go and can do the assignment, are unable to take it. It also damages our relationship with our client, for whom we conduct the shop for.
•All of our restaurant shops are looking for objective feedback on service, value, cleanliness of the restaurant, quality of the food and staff professionalism.
Visit Specific Requirements:
•You must bring at least 1 guest
•This is a three-part shop: phone the restaurant, visit the bar and eat in the dining room.
•You must provide names/descriptions of the staff you interact with.
•Tipping is a shop requirement and the industry standard is a minimum of 15% for good service.
•Review the shop report before going on the visit, so you know what to observe.
•You MUST go on your scheduled date.
Part 1 of Shop:
•Call the restaurant on the same day of your assignment to ask for directions and/or if they take reservations. DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION (this will help protect your mystery shopper identity)
Part 2 of Shop:
•Visit the bar for 30 minutes. You may do this before or after you eat in the dining room.
•Do NOT eat at the bar.
•Ask the bartender about the beer selection. Allow them an opportunity to assist you in making a beer choice.
•Order 1 beer and 1 other alcoholic beverage (of your choice). You MUST order 2 alcoholic drinks at the bar and 1 must be a beer. Heartland offers 1/2 pints and these are acceptable to order.
Part 3 of Shop:
•Eat your meal in the dining room.
•Order at minimum 1 appetizer, 2 different entrees and 1 dessert or coffee.
•If the server does not mention the beverages, ask them about what they offer to drink (they should tell you about their homemade beers and sodas). You do NOT have to order them if you do not want to, but please ask them about it to test staff knowledge.
