I've been researching and carefully considering becoming a single mother on my own since last May. I'm turning 38 this month and my window to have a child is small. I do hope to find a wonderful husband in the future but I can date anytime. I feel very secure and solid in my decision to have a child on my own.
I have always been very independent, self sufficient, and stable. I'm naturally optimistic, extroverted, and easily make friends. As a single mom, it's so important to reach out and build a community around you for help, encouragement, socializing, etc. Knowing that I'm a resourceful person who problem solves and reaches out to others when they're in need and vice versa helps me move forward in this decision.
I'd love more than anything to become a mom and help my child discover who they are and reach their goals. I have a lot of experience with children and I LOVE kiddos. I have a stable and fulfilling career in higher education and a wonderful support system. I lead a pretty active and involved life...I like getting outside in nature (biking, hiking), having pitch-in dinners/cookouts, going to local events, etc.
I wanted to share a little bit about myself so you can get a sense of who I am. I'm sure you want to help someone who you feel can create the type of home you'd want for a child. All I can do is tell you a little about myself and see if it resonates with you.
I'm looking for a reliable, healthy, and honest donor. I need someone who JUST wants to be the sperm donor (via AI) but is also willing to be known to my child when they're 18. Some people are just curious about their biological roots. I wouldn't want to keep that from my child permanently. I would keep your identity strictly confidential until then and we would sign a notarized contract releasing you from all rights/responsibilities before donation.
I do live in Indianapolis but I'm willing to travel for the monthly donation for the right committed, healthy, and honest donor. Ideally, I'd travel just within a 3 hour drive but I would consider going further (and possibly flying). Please let me know if you'd like to take the next step and chat more just to explore if we're a fit or not.
