My partner and I are a caucasian couple and have been together for 12-1/2 years and are seeking someone to act as our AI donor. We are willing to travel as far over as to the Walt Disney World area, as far up as the St. Augustine area, and as far down as the Cocoa Beach area.
My partner has concurrent custody of our great niece. As far as the baby is concerned, my partner has been the most constant adult in her 23 months of life. For the past year, since we relocated down to this area full time, the baby has been in our care about 90% of the time. The baby is African American with a medium dark complexion. Her mother is mixed, but her father is an African American male. I tell you this because, we don't care what race you are. If you are white, black, brown, or whatever, we have no problem accepting you as a potential donor. When I look at our great niece, all I see is the wonderful, sweet, smart, funny, charming, kind, and gentle little girl, who I could not love more had I given birth to her. We see no reason to create a child that has any limitations placed on him or her from birth, including the race of his/her sperm donor. We want our little one to see that it's who you are on the inside that makes you lovable, not the color of your skin, or the clothes that you wear, or any of that superficial stuff.
We both have stable jobs. We both work from home. We care for our great niece at home throughout the day and she is smarter than most children that attend daycare. Really, so not a brag, just a fact.
