[SAHM] Long Branch, NJ - October shops

 

We are scheduling several scenarios at the same location in Long Branch, NJ.07740.  Dates available Oct 1 – 20, 2012 depending on the shop assigned.

Requirements for all shoppers:
* Must be reliable
* Must be able to complete the survey in a professional manner
* Must be 21 or over
We are looking for shoppers that can give a 100% commitment. If you are not sure that you can complete the assignment, please do not request it.

LOCATION: Ocean Avenue Long Branch NJ 07740

1. Walk in - do not call for appointment tour facility inquiry about having a wedding at location. Monday – Friday noon – 5:00pm. Pay is $15.00

2. Night club visit Saturday only after 10:00pm. Reimbursement up to $50.00

3. Dinner 6pm -10pm Sunday through Saturdays. Preference given to a shopper who will contact the tour or the nightclub shop. Reimbursement up to $100.00

Hi, We actually did regular insemination with the syringe...not iui. The catheter just made it easier to see exactly where we were placing the sperm and made us able to place the sperm right around the cervix opening.

I began taking folic acid supplements along with prenatal vitamins 3 months before starting. I had been using fertility friend and the "mydays" app on my phone to keep track of my periods and ovulations 3 months before we started so that I could get a good idea of when I ovulate. I bought both the digital and the internet cheapo ovulation tests and began testing twice per day on the 10th day of my cycle. I also used basal tempting along with the ovulation tests so that I knew when exactly I ovulated. We used 2 fresh sperm donations, 1 time on the day of the positive ovulation test and 1 time the day after. The donor lives 10min away and gave a fresh sample. Once we got home...I layed down with pillows propped under my bum...
The way we inseminated:
insert the preseed 15 min before insemination (before we left to get the donation).
draw all but 1/4 of the sperm up in the syringe then attach the catheter to the tip
lubricate and insert the specula in one hand and use a flashlight in the other to locate the cervix.
slowly release the sperm gently over and around the cervix coating it with sperm near the hole carefully not to go through it only around.
slowly remove the specula
use vibrator to bring yourself to orgasm to help muscles contract and cervix dip into pool of sperm
pour the last  1/4 of the sperm into the instead cup...add a little preseed and lubricate it a little then insert it to fit around the cervix
lay with bum on top of pillows for at least 30min then sit upright so that cervix can rest in pool of sperm inside instead cup

I was able to get my positive pregnancy test exactly 9 days after ovulation. It was a very faint line on the walmart $0.88 cent cheap purple pregnancy tests then the next morning I tested with clearblue and got another positive. I know exactly when I ovulated due to my basal temp chart.

[FreeSpermDonors] Left over HOME INSEMINATION SUPPLIES

 

My partner and I just went through a successful 1st cycle insemination at home. We expected it to take longer since this was our first try but to our amazement we got our first positive pregnancy test a few days ago. We bought bulk supplies so that we would be ready and have at least 5 more cycles worth leftover that we can sell to someone else who can put them to use.

I have 1 sealed unopened box of 7 Clearblue Digital Ovulation (smiley face)kit that comes with preseed satchet, 1 clearblue digital pregnancy test and 1 clearblue blue dye lined pregnancy test. A few tomcat catheters and speculas, and instead soft cups. If interested I can make an ebay listing and you can buy it through paypal. All you will need is your collection cups (we bought from walmart 8pack with lids for $2.50, and preseed).


[from group owner ML: If you only got a positive a few days ago, I'd
recommend you wait a few weeks. You'll probably be fine, but things
don't always go according to plan after a big fat positive.

I think it's unusual to use a speculum or a catheter btw, and most people
don't use pre-seed.

[FreeSpermDonors] Updating on our search

 

Howdy everyone,
I am writing to you all to share some of the expierences I've encountered since we began our search for a donor. I am pleased that we received so many responses in return to our post. I am also learning that this is proving quite educational as well. We have encountered some wonderful people and some not so wonderful people. We were surprised at te willingness of married couples to help in out impending hopeful pregnancy. I never considered that a couple would want to help another couple to realize our dreams. It has truely been a humbling expierence. Although we are grateful for the donors that have reached out to us, we are Also quite shocked at the rudeness of some other potential donors. If we decided that a donor was just too far , or that we didn't meet their criteria or vice versa , we always replied nicely to say that we didn't feel we would be a good match and thanked them for even considering helping us. In return we were met with displeasing emails and downright rude messages. I don't understand really why someone would become angry at not being a right fit for us. There is someone for everyone in this difficult yet rewarding process and I never intended to receive such negativity. I know we are in a position where we need help from a donor to become pregnant but should that mean that we are to he degraded or expected to (pardon my language) "kiss ass" because of it? My wife and I are extremely grateful and excited that we ever even received responses in our search and I was very disheartened by a few. Not enough to make me give up but just enough to realize not everyone has the best intentions for everyone else. We are not deterred in our search and may have happy news after all through this. I just wondered of anyone else experiences these things and how do you handle it?
