I used to be a member of this site and also the associated discussion site. I did get myself into a few heated debates on there. :-)
Anyway I wanted to share my good news - especially with the guys I regularly debated! LOL
I finally fell pregnant on my 4th IVF attempt with clinic anon donor sperm (this was after a year of private DIY AI donor insemination attempts). At 7.5 weeks I had 2 major bleeds and was told I had lost the baby (and I appreciated the support from some members of this site during that horrible time). However the baby was tough and managed to survive.
On the 30th of August I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. It was a 2 and a half hour labour with me going from 4cm dilated to her being born in 10 minutes... so I gave birth in the hospital bathroom when I was momentarily alone and managed to catch her myself as she came out!
I just want to thank all the people I used to chat to for your support over the years and wish you all the best of luck in bringing your own little miracles into the world.
