I was hoping to post a success story. Instead I am sad to say that my pregnancy turned out to be ectopic. After a heart wrenching week of threatened miscarriage my hormone levels started to drop and an ultrasound confirmed there was no baby in my uterus at 4 weeks. I was given a series of methotrexate injections in order to stop the growth in my fallopian tubes and preserve my fertility for future attempts. Because of the medication I have to wait 3 cycles before trying again. To those who were considered for my back up donor I thank you and if you are still willing to be considered for my back up in 3 months when I try again I will keep your contact info on my file. Best of luck to all who are trying to conceive and congrats to all those who were successful.
