be the last. If parents receiving benefits name a private donor, then
the local government will usually treat him as a regular father and try
to get benefits from him unless a licensed medical professional
performed the insemination. The only potential good news about this
case is that it may lead to a change in the law to protect private
donors, as happened recently in California.
